I am a tutor located in El Cajon, CA. I hold an associate's degree in High Honors Biology, and I am currently pursuing my degree in Biology from the University of California, San Diego. As a tutor, it is my goal to help students understand concepts in a way that is relatable, practical, and fun. I try to adjust my tutoring style in order to best meet the needs of each student I work with, and I believe that helps to motivate and encourage learning. I have always been fascinated by the human body and how it works, that's why Biology is one of my favorite subjects to tutor. I speak two languages fluently, so I have tutored English as a Second Language to immigrant students. In addition to teaching Science and Language, I enjoy tutoring students in Algebra, Precalculus, Biology, Chemistry, English, and Life Sciences. My approach is to help students understand concepts so they are better able to memorize information and apply it to other questions. I am a lifelong learner, both academically and in my personal endeavors. Whether I am working with a student, or trying a new recipe in the kitchen, I always have a positive attitude toward learning and personal improvement.
