Experience

I am a current student at the University of California-Berkeley, where I am currently working towards my bachelor's degree in chemistry. Throughout my time as a high school and college student, I've been working as a tutor and have been teaching various math and science subjects to students with various learning disabilities. I have a wealth of experience tutoring math to various skill levels, from elementary mathematics all the way to calculus. Additionally, I help students struggling with English, writing, chemistry, and physics develop a better understanding of their coursework. As someone who's particularly strong at standardized tests, I also like to help college-ready seniors prepare for entrance exams like the SAT. Of all the subjects I tutor, my favorite to teach is organic chemistry. I enjoy the fascinating nature of this subject and love helping students learn more about the process. To me, there's nothing greater than seeing a student become inspired after they've learned that they had what it took to master a difficult field like physics or organic chemistry. Furthermore, I believe that everyone has the potential to be an excellent student when taught properly. Along with tutoring and completing my own studies, I also like to spend time outdoors. My favorite activities are camping, mountain biking, and playing soccer.
