I enjoy reading constantly and voraciously. Anything related to philosophical topics and concepts or figures, literary classics from all epochs all the way back, major, obscure or minor figures throughout literary history (basically what was once known as "philology") and works in others of the so-called "liberal arts" or, alternately, the "humanities". I can write well and have sometimes been referred to as a "pedant", since I'm always correcting someone's grammar & syntax (albeit in a gentle, friendly way, but also sometimes just in my head). I plan to return to Grad School sometime in the near future, but need to find some feasible way to fund it. The option of tutoring has presented itself. I am pretty flexible in terms of fees, and I won't charge you any more than transportation cost to get to a location of your choice. (Usually this would amount to $5.) I live in El Cajon now and don't own a car, so I would need to pay for bus/train fare. At this point, I'm open to any time, day/night. I would prefer to know exactly WHAT you are currently in need of assistance on within a fair amount of time before we meet, so that I can either "brush up" on the topic/specialization BEFORE we dive into it, or come prepared in some other way.
